FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for CFM International LEAP-1B Engines

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive for CFM International, S.A. Model LEAP-1B engines due to high-pressure compressor stall caused by non-synchronous vibration. The directive requires repetitive calculations and replacement of the No. 3 bearing spring finger housing.
