FAA Proposes Changes to Flight Instructor Certificate Renewal Requirements

The FAA proposes changes to the flight instructor certificate renewal requirements, allowing for recent experience requirements and a new method to establish recent flight instructor experience. The changes also include new qualification requirements for training initial flight instructor applicants and relocating a Special Federal Aviation Regulation into the regulations.
