FAA Proposes Changes to Fire Protection Regulations for Transport Category Airplanes

The FAA is revising its proposed rule on fire protection for interior compartments on transport category airplanes, including eliminating a smoke emissions testing requirement and adjusting cost-benefit calculations, in response to public comments.
