EPA Grants Exemptions for Ingredion Ingredients in Pesticide Formulations

Ingredion Incorporated has been granted exemptions by the EPA to use starch, 1-octenylbutanedioate, aluminum salt; dextrin, hydrogen 1-octenylbutanedioate; and amylopectin, 2-hydroxypropyl ether, acid- as inert ingredients in pesticide formulations applied pre-harvest without requiring a tolerance. This exemption eliminates the need to establish maximum permissible levels for these ingredients.
