EPA Exempts Polymeric Red from Tolerance Requirements for Pesticide Formulations
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of polymeric red, a colorant used in pesticide formulations, when applied to growing crops and raw agricultural commodities. This exemption eliminates the need to set a maximum permissible level for residues of polymeric red, as long as it is used in accordance with the terms of the exemption.
