EPA Approves Louisiana's Class VI UIC Program Revision

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has approved a revision to Louisiana's Underground Injection Control program, allowing the state to issue permits for geologic carbon sequestration facilities as Class VI wells and ensuring compliance of these wells under the program.
