EPA Establishes Exemptions for D-Glucopyranose-Based Surfactants

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established exemptions from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of certain D-glucopyranose-based surfactants, which are used as inert ingredients in pre- and post-harvest applications, following a petition from Lamberti USA, Inc. under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
