EPA Withdraws Proposed Rule on Solid Waste Incineration Units

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has withdrawn a proposed rule that would have removed pyrolysis/combustion units from the definition of municipal waste combustion units, as part of a 5-year review of the Standards of Performance for New Stationary Sources and Emissions Guidelines for Existing Sources: Other Solid Waste Incineration Units.
