EPA Adds Diisononyl Phthalate Category to Toxic Chemical Reporting Requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is adding diisononyl phthalate (DINP) to the list of toxic chemicals subject to reporting requirements under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) and the Pollution Prevention Act (PPA). DINP meets the EPCRA toxicity criterion due to its potential to cause reproductive and chronic health effects.
