LCRA Applies for Permit to Protect Four Freshwater Mussel Species in Texas

The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) and LCRA Transmission Services Corporation have applied for an enhancement of survival (EOS) permit for four freshwater mussel species in the Lower Colorado River Basin below O.H. Ivie Reservoir. The permit is supported by a Candidate Conservation Agreement with Assurances for the Texas pimpleback, Texas fawnsfoot, Texas fatmucket, and Balcones spike.
