SEC Adopts Amendments to Covered Clearing Agency Standards

The Securities and Exchange Commission is strengthening rules for covered clearing agencies, including new margin requirements and a recovery and orderly wind-down plan rule, under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
