OSMRE Approves Part of Montana Regulatory Program Amendment

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement has approved a part of Montana's amendment to the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, requiring permit applicants to update and approve compliance information in the event of a change in ownership and providing financial assurance for employee pensions.
