30-Day Notification Requirement Prior To Termination of Lease for Nonpayment of Rent

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has finalized a rule requiring public housing agencies and project-based rental assistance recipients to provide 30-day written notice to tenants before filing for eviction due to nonpayment of rent.
