EPA Determines Evangeline Parish, Louisiana, Failed to Meet 2010 SO2 Air Quality Standard

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has found that the Evangeline Parish, Louisiana, area failed to meet the 2010 1-hour primary sulfur dioxide national ambient air quality standard by the statutory attainment date of April 9, 2023, primarily due to emissions from Cabot Corporation's Ville Platte Plant.
