HHS to Review Petition for Vitro Manufacturing Facility Designation

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is evaluating a petition to include employees from the Vitro Manufacturing facility in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, in the Special Exposure Cohort under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000, which covers workers who worked at facilities producing nuclear materials or equipment from 1958 to 1960.
