FDA Confirms Effective Date for Herpes Simplex Virus Serological Assays Reclassification

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has confirmed the effective date of December 7, 2009, for a rule that corrected the regulation classifying herpes simplex virus (HSV) serological assays, removing references to other types of assays.
