US Department of Commerce Adjusts Civil Monetary Penalties for Inflation

The US Department of Commerce has issued a final rule to adjust civil monetary penalties (CMPs) for inflation, as required by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990, with adjustments effective as of November 2, 2015, and applying to CMPs with a dollar amount.
