NRC Confirms Effective Date for Direct Final Rule on Spent Fuel Storage Casks

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of March 19, 2025, for a direct final rule that amended the NAC International, Inc. MAGNASTOR Storage System listing, including Amendment No. 14 and revisions to Amendment Nos. 0 through 13, as published in the Federal Register on January 3, 2025.
