Framatome, Inc. Seeks NRC Approval for TRISO Fuel Fabrication with Reduced Enrichment

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has accepted an application by Framatome, Inc. to amend the Special Nuclear Materials License No. SNM-1227, allowing for the fabrication of TRISO fuel with reduced uranium enrichment at the Framatome Fuel Fabrication Facility in Richland, WA.
