FDA to Award Cooperative Agreement to WHO for Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance Network Development

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is planning to award a cooperative agreement to the World Health Organization (WHO) to support the development of an international network for harmonizing antimicrobial resistance surveillance data among countries. The agreement will be based on a framework provided by the FDA to the WHO's Global Foodborne Infections Network (GFN).
