FCC Refines Alaska High-Cost Mobile-Support Programs for 5G-NR Rollout

The Federal Communications Commission has refined the Alaska high-cost mobile-support programs to ensure efficient use of universal service funds, supporting the rollout of 5G-NR in Alaska, following a petition by GCI Communications Corp. (GCI) to reconsider and clarify the Alaska Connect Fund (ACF) rules.
