FDA Clears Path for Tolmetin Sodium Capsule Approval

The FDA has determined that TOLECTIN DS (tolmetin sodium) capsule, equivalent to 400 mg base, was not withdrawn from sale for reasons of safety or effectiveness. This decision will allow FDA to approve tolmetin sodium's abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) if all other requirements are met.
