Health Insurance Reform; Maintenance Changes to Electronic Data Transaction Standards Under HIPAA
The U.S. government has announced minor updates to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 standards, primarily aimed at correcting errors and clarifying existing regulations, as part of the ongoing Health Insurance Reform efforts.
