Zinc Stearate; Tolerance Exemption

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of zinc stearate in pesticide formulations, allowing for its use at rates of up to 6% by weight in pre- and post-harvest applications to crops. This exemption was granted after a petition submitted by Pyxis Regulatory Consulting, Inc. on behalf of UPL NA Inc. under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
