DoD Modifies System of Records for Accessibility Accommodations and Exemptions

The US Department of Defense (DoD) is updating its 'Defense Reasonable Accommodation and Assistive Technology Records' system of records to expand coverage to include personnel requesting exemptions from policies due to medical conditions, religious beliefs, or conscience. This update aligns with the Privacy Act of 1974.
