Findings of Research Misconduct Against Surangi Jayawardena, Ph.D.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) has taken administrative actions against Surangi (Suranji) Jayawardena, Ph.D., an Assistant Professor of Chemistry, following findings of research misconduct in grant applications submitted to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and National Institutes of Health (NIH). The actions began on August 18, 2023, and include a four-year supervision period.
