Norfolk Southern Railway Requests Authorization to Operate During Temporary PTC Outage

Norfolk Southern Railway submitted a request to the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) to continue operations with certain restrictions while its positive train control system is temporarily disabled following a system-wide outage on August 28, 2023.
