VA Proposes Changes to Burial Benefits Regulations

The Department of Veterans Affairs is proposing amendments to its burial benefits regulations to align with recent statutory changes enacted in 2020 and 2022, expanding transportation benefits and single payment rates for non-service-connected burial allowances, and extending plot allowances to Tribal organizations.
