OPM Issues Interim Regulations on Noncompetitive Appointment Authority for Military Spouses

The Office of Personnel Management is implementing changes to the noncompetitive appointment authority for certain military spouses, extending temporary provisions and removing reporting requirements, to enhance the recruitment and hiring of military spouses for permanent Federal positions.
