OPM Adopts Proposed Rule for Survivor Annuities for Spouses of Separated Employees

The Office of Personnel Management is adopting a rule to revise the table of reduction factors for early commencing dates of survivor annuities for spouses of separated employees who die before they become eligible for unreduced deferred annuities, as required by law and in accordance with the Board of Actuaries' economic and demographic assumptions published in the Federal Register on April 14, 2023.
