Tennessee Valley Authority to Prepare Environmental Assessment for New Aeroderivative Combustion Turbine Units

The Tennessee Valley Authority plans to conduct an environmental assessment to address potential environmental impacts of six new aeroderivative combustion turbine units at the Allen Combustion Turbine site in Tennessee, which would generate approximately 200 Megawatts of power to meet growing system demand.
