EPA Amends Reformulated Gasoline Regulations for Severe Ozone Nonattainment Areas

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is revising its reformulated gasoline regulations to reflect the reclassification of several ozone nonattainment areas as Severe for the 2008 ozone national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS), resulting in restrictions on conventional gasoline sales in affected areas.
