Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council Extends Deadline for Comments on Revised Mining Sector Regulations

The Permitting Council is extending the deadline for submitting comments on its proposal to revise the scope of the mining sector eligible for coverage under Title 41 of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act (FAST-41), which would apply to critical minerals mining projects and infrastructure supporting critical minerals supply chain activities.
