Implementation of Additional Export Controls on Advanced Computing and Semiconductor Items

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) released an interim final rule (IFR) on October 7, 2022, to implement export controls on advanced computing integrated circuits, computer commodities containing these ICs, and certain semiconductor manufacturing items, with the goal of making the controls more effective and less burdensome.
