DOE Announces Availability of Draft Basis for Closure of Idaho Calcined Solids Storage Facility

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has released a draft document outlining the potential for the closure of the Calcined Solids Storage Facility at the Idaho National Laboratory Site, which could allow for the disposal of the facility's waste as low-level radioactive waste (LLW), rather than high-level radioactive waste (HLW).
