EPA Proposes Revisions to TSCA Risk Evaluation Procedural Framework Rule

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to revise its procedural framework rule for conducting risk evaluations under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to better align with court decisions and statutory text, and to consider future scientific advances. The proposed changes aim to ensure that risk evaluations are conducted without considering costs or non-risk factors, and to identify potentially exposed or susceptible subpopulations.
