Administrative Settlement Agreement Reached for Nelson Tunnel/Commodore Waste Rock Superfund Site in Colorado

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Colorado, along with mining companies Commodore Mining Company and Del Monte Mining Company, have agreed to settle their alleged environmental liabilities at the Nelson Tunnel/Commodore Waste Rock Superfund Site in Mineral County, Colorado, in exchange for preserving the site's historical structures.
