NMFS to Hold Public Hearing for Proposed Banggai Cardinalfish Regulations

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) will hold an informational meeting and public hearing to discuss proposed protective regulations for the threatened Banggai cardinalfish (Pterapogon kauderni), with a comment period extended to December 15, 2023, following the August 15, 2023, publication of the proposed rule.
