SSS Implements Social Security Number Fraud Prevention Act of 2017

The Social Security Administration (SSA) is adding new restrictions to its Privacy Act regulations to prevent the misuse of Social Security numbers in documents mailed by the agency, in compliance with the Social Security Number Fraud Prevention Act of 2017.
