Medicare Program; Payment Policies Under the Physician Fee Schedule and Other Revisions to Part B for CY 2011

The U.S. government has released a final rule updating Medicare payment policies to reflect changes in medical practice and the value of services, including changes to the physician fee schedule and the Affordable Care Act. The rule also addresses various other payment systems, such as the Ambulance Fee Schedule and the Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule, and includes provisions related to the Chiropractic Services Demonstration program and the Competitive Bidding Program for durable medical equipment.
