CMS Implements New Enforcement Authorities for Medicaid State Compliance

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released an interim final rule with request for comments to enforce state compliance with reporting and federal Medicaid renewal requirements under Section 1902(tt) of the Social Security Act, as added by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (CAA, 2023).
