FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 737-600 to 900ER Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) to address engine fan blade-out events that resulted in damage to Boeing 737-600 to 900ER series airplanes, requiring replacement of fasteners and installation of a serviceable inlet cowl.
