FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 737 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Boeing 737-600, -700, -700C, -800, -900, and -900ER series airplanes to address engine fan blade-out events that resulted in damage to the fuselage and loss of pressurization.
