FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing MD-11 and MD-11F Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) to address an unsafe condition on certain Boeing Model MD-11 and MD-11F airplanes equipped with General Electric CF6-80C2D1F engines, following a report of an uncommanded thrust reverser deployment during flight.
