NRC Grants Exemption to Holtec for Palisades Nuclear Plant
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued an exemption allowing Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC and Holtec Palisades, LLC to reduce the minimum coverage limit for onsite property damage insurance at the Palisades Nuclear Plant from $1.06 billion to $50 million.
