NRC Grants Exemption to Holtec for Palisades Nuclear Plant
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC, allowing the company to reduce primary offsite liability insurance from $450 million to $100 million and eliminate secondary financial protection for the Palisades Nuclear Plant.
