NRC Grants Exemption to Vistra Operations for Storage of Holtec Canister at Perry Nuclear Power Plant

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued an exemption to Vistra Operations Company LLC, allowing the Perry Nuclear Power Plant to store a Holtec canister in a non-compliant condition, pending compliance with specific terms and conditions outlined in Certificate of Compliance No. 1032, Amendment No. 5.
