NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming Ferrari LaFerrari Cars

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has received a petition from J.K. Technologies to determine that model year 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari cars, originally manufactured for sale in Europe or Mexico, are eligible for importation into the US due to their substantial similarity to US-certified versions and ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
