US Proposes Changes to Area Navigation Routes in Northeast

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing amendments to three low-altitude Area Navigation (RNAV) routes and the establishment of two new routes to support the VHF Omnidirectional Range (VOR) Minimum Operational Network (MON) Program, aiming to improve the efficiency of the National Airspace System (NAS) by transitioning to a satellite-based navigation system.
