FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Embraer EMB-545 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive to address an error in the takeoff configuration warning logic of certain Embraer EMB-545 airplanes, which would require the installation of a new software version of the engine indication and crew alert system (EICAS).
